1986 Reunion a great success!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Hawthorne on Friday night to make our reunion such a wonderful success. The emails keep coming in about what a great time so many people had at the celebration. And while the class officers worked for months to pull it together, the evenings success depended on the class coming together to make it happen. We had over 75 alums and over 120 people in attendance!

Bookmark this blog, which will remain running, for photos and addresses. We will be posting the guest book of attendees, as well as photos taken of the reunion. If you have photos to share, please let Katie know and we will get them all up!

Reunion is this week!

The Class of 1986 Reunion is only five days away! We have over 110 confirmed attendees. If, for some reason, you did not send in your rsvp, but still intend to come, please notify Katie Goodfellow at k.goodfellow@comcast.net or at 617-388-7120 right away.

If you are coming to the reunion and have responded already, you just need to show up -- we will have your name on the guest list.

If you plan to show up but have not rsvp'd, please be aware that everyone is required to pay the dinner fee -- $40 for individuals and $75 for couples, regardless of whether you plan to eat or not. The ticket price pays for more than just the dinner and we need to keep things fair.

Appetizers will be served at 6:00 and there will be a cash bar open for most of the evening.

RSVP deadline

Many thanks to all of you Lakers who got your RSVP cards back by the requested deadline. If you have not sent in your RSVP, do not despair--we can continue to take payments up to November 13.

We must tell the Hawthorne Country Club our total headcount on November 14, so if you still haven't mailed in your check by that date and intend to attend, let Katie know. We need to pay the Hawthorne before the event, so we need to gather the funds before the reunion.

Countdown to the Reunion!

Hi everyone -- Our reunion is less than a month away! Stay tuned for information on the buffet and entertainment.

If you haven't done so already, be sure to purchase your tickets -- we need to give a head count to the Hawthorne and pay the room fees. Payment can be sent to Katie Goodfellow, 9 Holloway Brook Road, Lakeville, MA 02347 and checks should be made payable to the Apponequet Class of 1986.

Reunion Update!

Hello Class of 1986!
Well, many of you have recieved an invitation in the mail with information about the reunion and a reply card. If you have not done so, please RSVP as soon as possible so we can make a headcount and relay this information in a timely fashion to the Hawthorne Country Club. It is very important that we provide an accurate headcount to make sure we have enough food for everyone.

PLEASE NOTE: While we may be able to accept a few payments at the door, we really, really want to avoid this. Also, YOU MUST BUY A TICKET TO ATTEND THE REUNION. At the last reunion, a few people showed up at the door just intending to "buy a drink" -- while we understand the sentiment, we must pay for the room, the entertainment, and the dinner. The ticket price covers our costs, so we can't let people in who haven't paid. It isn't fair to those who did pay.
